Great shoes for a long haul flight

I love FitFlop shoes and have worn them for many years, though in recent years have been quite disappointed by the narrowness of the majority of styles. I have had to return so many recent versions of my favourite FitFlops (chelsea boots in particular) as FitFlop changed the sizing and made them only suitable for narrow feet. Very relieved that these GenFF women's mules are not at all narrow, the reverse in fact. They seem comfortable, and ideal for a long haul flight. They do seem very heavy, but I will probably get used to that. Not too sure why the elastic is needed as they are very wide (and I have wide feet). Overall, I am pleased with them and so relieved that they aren't too narrow.
