felt midsole comes apart

Lovely shoe – if it weren't for cheap and nasty felt midsole this brand seems to use, which after a couple of wet walks just started to fray apart. It can't be sensibly glued either, so it's basically a throw away design, despite the decent upper material. Frustrating as this would not happen with a simple leather midsole. The tread has hardly any wear either, so it really wasn't much use. Unsustainable and frustrating.
